THE KILLER: GIGI

Gigi murdered Daniel "Danny K" at the Blackwater Lake dock on the night of the bonfire.

THE NIGHT OF THE MURDER

Gigi confronted Danny about her documentary, its future, and his involvement in Evelyn's disappearance. Fearing the consequences of his decisions, she struck him with a canoe paddle at approximately 11:37 PM. Danny ended up in the lake, where he drowned.

Gigi hid the paddle in Cabin 13, washed her hands, and returned to the bonfire before midnight. Later, she joined Nicky in searching the lakeside and helped stage the discovery of Danny's body.

THE EVIDENCE THAT EXPOSED HER

The cassette recording captured the confrontation and the blow. The watch, the traces connected to Cabin 13, and Gigi's knowledge of the watch inscription helped expose her involvement.

THE SECRET OF 1958

Evelyn Bell did not simply disappear. Following an argument with Danny, she fell into Blackwater Lake from a damaged dock and trapped under the debris, she drowned.

The dock's dangerous condition had been reported, but repairs were neglected. Camp records were subsequently falsified, concealing what really happened to Evelyn for twenty years.

THE FINAL VERDICT

The past haunted Camp CHC for twenty years, but Evelyn's death and Danny's murder were not the same crime.

Gigi was responsible for Danny K's death. The case is officially closed.
